CONSTRUCTION OF SECURITY FENCING AT THE MINE LEASE AREA
INVITATION TO SUBMIT EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (EOI)
Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified construction companies for the construction of security fencing of its mine lease area at Letšeng Diamond Mine in the Mokhotlong District. The construction of the security fence will comprise approximately 9km of high-risk area and another 9km of medium-risk area. It is envisaged that the security fencing in the high-risk area will be made of solid concrete panels. The security fencing in the medium-risk area will be made of a concrete palisade. Shortlisted companies will be required to do a compulsory site visit.
PRESCRIBED FORMAT FOR SUBMISSION
Interested companies are requested to submit the following documents, in the order below:
• Cover Letter & Company profile
• Company registration documents and verified company extract
• Valid tax clearance
• VAT registration certificates
• Proof of previous experience with similar works/services
• CV’s of relevant personnel currently employed by the company or organisation
• Audited Financial Statements for the past three years
• Workmen’s Compensation
• Company Directors Information (Name/ID/Position/Qualifications)
• Three reference letters for similar projects completed
• Due diligence form filled
SUBMISSION
Submissions must be made in HARD COPY in sealed envelopes bearing no identity of the company and marked “Expressions of Interest for Security Fencing.” The sealed envelopes must be submitted at Letšeng Diamonds House, Cnr. Kingsway & Old School Road, Maseru or at the reception at Letšeng Diamond Mine, Letšeng-la-Terae, Mokhotlong.
CLOSING DATE
The closing date for submissions is Friday 9 September 2022 at 12h00.

Only shortlisted companies will be contacted for the formal tender process. This Expression of Interest is open to both Lesotho and Internationally registered companies. Preference shall be given to service providers that can demonstrate support for staffing, procurement and enterprise development of Lesotho nationals.
Letšeng will neither be responsible for nor pay any expenses or losses which the proposer may incur in response to this invitation. Letšeng reserves the right to withdraw this Expression of Interest at any stage without notice.
