Construction of a Multi-Purpose Office Building at ECOL Centre Khubetsoana

- The Examinations Council of Lesotho invites sealed bids from eligible bidders or contractors in category A only for the Construction of a Multi-Purpose Office Building at ECOL Centre Khubetsoana.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Examinations Council of Lesotho, Manager Strategy, email: [email protected] and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Local Time) at the address 1 given below.
- A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of M500.00. The method of payment will be by direct deposit or transfer into the following account: Account No: 21000003163, Account Name: Ordinary Account, Bank: Nedbank Lesotho, IFB No.: ECOL-W01/2022. The facility shall be made available for purchasing of the tender documents by POS/swiping at the Finance Department, Examinations Council of Lesotho headquarters. The document will be collected at reception.
- Bids must be delivered to address 2 below and deposited in the Tender Box on or before 10:15hrs on Tuesday, 2nd August 2022. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened on the same day as the submission date at 10:30hrs (local time) in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address 2 below.
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of five thousand Maloti (M5,000.00) in the form of a Bank Guaranteed Cheque addressed to “Examinations Council of Lesotho”.
- Each Bid must be accompanied by copies of valid Tax Clearance Certificates, Traders Licence, and Works Category A. All copies should be certified at source. All Bids should include VAT and Tenderers are advised to note that the Bids are expected to be in compliance with Lesotho Government tax obligations.
- A pre-tender conference will be held at the site ECoL Centre Khubetsoana along Main North 1 Road next to National Abattoir on July 5th,2022 at 10:00hrs.
- The Examinations Council of Lesotho reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders for reasons that may be advanced.
