About the Job
Job Purpose
The Construction Manager is the primary site-based leader responsible for the physical execution of the works.
The purpose of this role is to manage all on-site resources — labour, plant, and materials — to ensure that construction milestones are achieved safely, within the technical specifications, and according to the daily production targets.
While the Contracts Manager manages the project “from the office,” the Construction Manager lives at the “coal face.” They are responsible for the daily “Push,” ensuring that every machine hour is productive and every cubic metre of material is placed correctly the first time.
The Construction Manager must be a master of site discipline, maintaining a pristine site environment and meticulous records of daily activities.
