Contract No.: 09 of 2025/2026
The Government of Lesotho, through the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police, invites sealed bids from suitably qualified construction companies locally registered as Category A or B Contractors (registered with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport – BDS) for the Construction and Furnishing of the Manonyane Community Council Centre.
Bid Collection
Bid documents are obtainable from the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police, Moposo House, Room 5-37, Kingsway, Maseru, starting from 27th June 2025, between 08:00 am and 15:30 hrs, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of M2,500.00 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Maloti only).
Mandatory Documents
All prospective bidders must attach the following certified-at-source documents to their bids:
- Valid Trader’s License
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Valid Registration Certificate for Building Contractors
- Refundable Bid Security of 1% of the bid price
- Power of Attorney for the authorized signatory
Mandatory Site Inspection
- Date: 11th July 2025
- Time: 10:00 am
- Assembly Point: Roma Lengoleng
Note: It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure registration at the pre-bid meeting.
Bid Submission
Sealed bids (original and four copies), clearly marked:
“Construction and Furnishing of Manonyane Community Council”,
must be deposited in the Tender Box, 5th Floor, Moposo House, Kingsway, Maseru, on or before 12:30 pm on 6th August 2025.
Late bids will be returned unopened.
Bid Opening
Bids will be opened publicly at:
2:30 pm on the same day (6th August 2025)
