Position: Computer Studies Teacher

Maseru Private Academy invites applications from suitably qualified, dedicated and competent individuals for the position of Computer Studies Teacher.
TEACHING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary School: Cambridge Primary Digital Literacy.
- High School: Cambridge IGCSE Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Recognised qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong theoretical and practical computer skills.
- Knowledge of computer applications, digital literacy and ICT concepts.
- Ability to teach Primary and High School learners.
- Good lesson-planning, classroom management and assessment skills.
- Ability to prepare High School learners for Cambridge IGCSE ICT examinations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge syllabuses.
- Develop digital literacy and practical computer skills.
- Teach theoretical ICT concepts and practical applications.
- Prepare learners for assessments and Cambridge examinations where applicable.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Promote responsible technology use and care of computer laboratory equipment.
ADDED ADVANTAGES
- Previous Cambridge curriculum teaching experience.
- Experience with Primary and Secondary learners.
- Knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE ICT syllabus and practical examination preparation.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations and website authoring.
