POSITION TITLE: Computer Information Systems Specialist

GRADE: H

RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Network & Hardware Officer

MAIN DUTIES

  1. Write reports summarizing the results of analysis
  2. File reports about evidence during the time of collection and organize evidence for easy reference
  3. Research new forensic technologies and advice investigators accordingly
  4. Liaise with suppliers for base software and hardware requirements
  5. Analyze software and hardware files and systems
  6. File and Data recovery
  7. Provide hardware and software support for individuals in the DCEO systems
  8. Research new technology
  9. Off-site support to DCEO operations (IT)  
  10. Oversee statutory requirements

EDUCATION TRAINING

  • BSc Hons. Degree in Software engineering and BSc Hons. Degree in Information Technology with at least 3 years’ experience in the field.
  • BSc in Computer Information systems with at least 5 years’ experience in the field
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software and operating systems.

OTHER RELEVANT SKILLS

  • Be a self-starter
  • Be prepared to work beyond normal working hours
  • Strategic thinking and planning
  • Possess good interpersonal Skills

Box 16060, (opposite National Manpower Development Secretariat (NMDS), Maseru) before or on 07th April 2023, before 13:00 pm.
