Job Summary
Under a general supervision of National Project Coordinator (NPC), Communication and Visibility Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to enhance project visibility using various digital platforms and media to target a broader audience to increase stakeholder awareness on the project activities, achievements and results.
Duties
- Manage media partnerships and facilitate coverage.
- Ensure all project materials align with project branding and guidelines and specifications.
- Draft press releases and articles.
- Produce detailed reports to reflect on engagement metrics and visibility activities.
- Develop, edit and update brochures, reports, templates, presentations and branding materials to ensure compliance with project guidelines.
- Manage local and international media coverage.
Qualifications
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
- 5 years experience working in similar field.
Skills and Competencies
- Exceptional writing, editing and graphic design, photography and videography skills.
- Proficiency and fluency in both local languages (Sesotho and English).
- People skills.
Other Competencies
- Candidates must pass competency assessment test.
Duration of Contract
- Two (2) years with possibility of extension upon satisfactory performance.
