- Leads the operational technical commercialization of new product& packaging introductions for all categories/divisions to deliver the innovation agenda on time and first time right
- Ensuring quality and food safety standards are maintained in the roll-out of new products & packaging
- Ensure technical assessments are done and gaps identified before commercializing new products and processes in plants
- Qualifying lines, new packages, new products & processes, working closely with R&D
- Lead validation activities to ensure that new products are commercialized successfully
- Stage Gate / TSG Inputs
- Capability Building Delivery related to the requirements of the new prod/pkg/productivity
- Lead quality sustainment and validation efforts relative to new product introductions
- Lead troubleshooting and SME support efforts ensuring that issues are handled appropriately and in a timely manner
- BU Supply Chain lead contact on commercialization and interface with cross functional teams – R&D, Category/Marketing, BU/MU Operations and Field
- Responsible for maintaining all good record keeping and necessary and relevant documentation of new product./package introductions.
- Continuously develop improvement in implementing new product process and protocols to provide speed and transparencies and train operating markets’ capability to sustain new product processes and required capabilities
Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Quality, Food Science, or Engineering
Eight years or more of experience in Food/Consumer Goods Manufacturing in Technical Services, R&D and Quality in Design
Project Management is ideal
