The main purpose of the job is to assemble Heavy Duty Trucks/Vehicles in line with the Volvo Production System Standards.
Reporting: This position reports to the Production Team Leader.
Job Objectives

To assembles Vehicles and vehicle sub-components in line with Plant SQCDP Targets and according to Sprint instructions.

Perform other related responsibilities and carry out 5S and Housekeeping responsibilities.

To ensure that all tooling and equipment is well maintained

Ensure that all SOPs and Safety regulations are well adhered to and immediately report deviations to superior.

Participate and contribute in all other Production related activities ie Kaizen and Gemba events.
Education & Job Experience
-
Grade 12 with Passes in Mathematics and Science.

Training will be provided.
-
Those with relevant/similar experience from the automotive industry will have a definite advantage.
