The main purpose of the job is to assemble Heavy Duty Trucks/Vehicles in line with the Volvo Production System Standards.
Reporting: This role will be report to the Production Team Leader.
Job Objective
-
To assembles Vehicles and vehicle sub-components in line with Plant SQCDP Targets and according to Sprint instructions.

Perform other related responsibilities and carry out 5S and Housekeeping responsibilities.

To ensure that all tooling and equipment is well maintained

Ensure that all SOPs and Safety regulations are well adhered to and immediately report deviations to superior.

Participate and contribute in all other Production related activities i.e Kaizen and Gemba events.
Education and Job Experience
-
Grade 12 with a pass in Mathematics and Science.
-
Training will be provided.
-
Relevant or Similar experience from the automotive industry will have an added advantage.
Job Knowledge and Skills

Ability to use basic hand tools

Physically Fit and able to lift heavy equipment.

Ability to read and follow assembly instructions.
