COMMERCIAL UNDERWRITER x 2 POSITIONS
Purpose of the job:
To determine whether or not a prospective client should be insured and, if so, seek quotations from various insurance houses and negotiate an appropriate premium to take on that level of risk.
Educational Qualifications & Related Experience
- Bachelor of Law or Economics Degree with at least three years working experience in the insurance industry
OR
- At least four years working experience in the insurance industry
- If the applicant has no degree, they must have a Certificate of Proficiency in insurance
- Any other short-term insurance qualification shall be an added advantage
- A valid driver’s license with more than two years driving experience
