Collections Specialist
Location: Lesotho | 🕒 Full-time
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Auditor to join our team!
What You’ll Do:
• Manage and action assigned accounts within set timelines to achieve portfolio collection targets
• Monitor and improve cure rates, contact rates, PTP rates, roll rates & overall portfolio performance
• Handle pre-default, FID, FTD, repeat and late-stage arrears accounts
• Conduct calls and field visits, verify payment details & resolve client queries
• Maintain accurate records and ensure full compliance with SOPs, SLAs & regulatory requirements
• Support reduction of provisions, legal handovers & write-offs through effective collections management
What We’re Looking For:
• Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom, Finance Degree, or similar); certifications in Finance or Credit Management are an advantage
• Extensive experience in a collections environment within a financial services institution in Lesotho
• Strong understanding of processes within cost centres and government ministries
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with cost centre personnel
• Solid knowledge of credit cycle managemal.
