Job Summary
MG Health Limited is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee sanitation operations across its cannabis facility, including offices, toilets, shower blocks, and common areas. The role ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), health and safety standards, and cannabis regulatory requirements while managing a team of cleaners.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily duties of cleaning staff
- Ensure adherence to cleaning protocols and schedules
- Inspect work areas for compliance with SOPs, GMP, and regulatory standards
- Train new cleaning staff on safety and sanitation procedures
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and submit purchase requests
- Maintain cleaning logs, checklists, and compliance documentation
- Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals and PPE
- Report maintenance issues and sanitation concerns promptly
- Lead deep cleaning and sanitization in high-risk areas
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching or disciplinary action
- Uphold biosecurity and contamination prevention measures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Certificate
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor, preferably in a regulated industry
- Strong understanding of sanitation, health, and safety protocols
- Effective team leadership and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks
- Knowledge of biosecurity and contamination control is an asset
