PROJECT NAME: PROVISION OF CLEANING SERVICES IN MASERU DISTRICT HOSPITAL AT THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH
Bids are invited from suitably qualified companies for provision of cleaning services and landscaping at Maseru District Hospital. Bid documents are obtainable from Procurement Office of the Ministry of Health, Corner Constitutional Road and Linare Road, Maseru, Lesotho from 22nd April 2024 to 28th May, 2024 at a non-refundable fee of M2,000.00(Two thousand Maloti).
MANDATORY DOCUMENTS
All prospective bidders must attach to their bids the following documents:
Traders Licence certified at source
Valid Tax Clearance certified at source;
Refundable bid security of M100,000.00 of the bid price; and
Power of Attorney for the authorized signatory.
SITE INSPECTION
There will be mandatory site inspections on 25thApril 2024 at 10:30 a.m.
Sealed bids, original and 1 copy clearly marked “Provision of Cleaning Services at Maseru District Hospital at the Ministry of Health” bearing no identification of the bidder should be deposited at the tender box situated at Ground floor, Ministry of Health Headquarters, Procurement Unit on or before 28th May, 2024 at 12:30hrs

- There shall be mandatory site visits as stated in the table 1 above and bidders are requested to participate and be on time at the location of the Maseru District Hospital they are intending to bid. Late arrival by participants will not be accepted.
- Bidders must submit Bid forms and Activity Price Schedules for the above named hospital.
- Bid evaluation will be carried out as per the requirements stated and bidders must submit one envelope that will compose of financial and technical bids
- Qualifications requirements include amongst others:
- Specific and similar business experience of not less than five years in cleaning services with work volume of not less than 20 million.
- A qualified Diploma Project Manager of not less than five (5) years’ experience.
- Annual volume of relevant work in any of the last recent five (5) years (from 2019-2023/24) of not less than 5 million
- Liquidity or credit lines of not less LsM10,000,000.00

- Bidding will be conducted through Public Procurement Act, 2023.
- Bids must be delivered to the Ground Floor Auditorium Ministry of Health on or before 28-05-2024 12:30hour. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders and their authorized representatives who choose to attend at 14:30hrs on the 28-05-2024 at the above given address.
- During Bid Opening the following will be announced from the bidders: Bid amount, Valid Copies of Traders License, Tax Clearance Certificate, bid security. Bidders must be aware that non-compliance with this requirement may invalidate their bids.
