BUTCHERY CLEANER (2 POSITIONS)
Location: Maputsoe, Lesotho
Employment Type: Full-time
ROLE PURPOSE
The Butchery Cleaner ensures the entire butchery environment meets strict hygiene and sanitation standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean floors, counters, equipment, cold rooms and workstations.
- Wash and sanitise knives, trays, cutting boards and machines.
- Dispose of waste safely and maintain cleanliness around the premises.
- Assist with general housekeeping tasks.
- Follow daily cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong attention to hygiene and detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in cold areas.
- Reliability and punctuality.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Cleaning experience in retail, hospitality or the food industry is advantageous.
- No formal qualification required; training will be provided.
