Summary:

The U.S. Mission in Maseru, Lesotho is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Cleaner.

Start date:  Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Supervisory Position:  No.

Duties:  Performs basic cleaning duties and provides back-up services to Reception and general services. Qualifications and Evaluations

EDUCATION:  Completion of Secondary School is required. Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:  6 months experience as a cleaner is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must understand and practice sound hygienic procedures, know how to operate appropriate equipment, and utilize tools in a safe and responsible fashion.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE:  Level 3 (good working knowledge) in English is required.
                         Level 3 (good working knowledge) in Sesotho is required. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Basic typing skills required.

Qualifications:  All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.
