Reports to: Facilities & Maintenance Liaison Officer

Duty Station: Maseru

Job Summary:

The Cleaner is responsible for ensuring a clean and hygienic environment throughout all areas of the guesthouses. This role emphasizes the use of safe working practices to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Daily Cleaning:

• Perform daily cleaning of the interior of the employer’s premises (the PIH Guest houses) to uphold a neat and organized residential space.

Hygiene Maintenance:

• Ensure proper hygiene is maintained in all areas requiring care, including restrooms, common areas, and workspaces.

Supply Management:

• Purchase groceries and other necessary supplies for the guesthouses, ensuring that essential items are stocked and readily available.

Maintenance Reporting:

• Report any broken equipment or maintenance needs promptly to the

Flexibility:

• Perform additional duties as required by the employer, adapting to the dynamic needs of the Organization.

Minimum Requirements

• Completed LGCSE (COSC) certificate.

• Previous experience in professional cleaning or related roles.

• Knowledge of safe and effective cleaning practices.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of cleanliness.

• Ability to manage supplies and ensure their timely replenishment.
