Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Classroom Teacher tenable in the Teaching Service for Post-Primary Government and Church-Owned Schools across Lesotho.
NOTE:
All positions are open to both qualified unemployed teachers and serving teachers who have acquired higher qualifications.

JOB SUMMARY
The Classroom Teacher is responsible for delivering quality classroom instruction to ensure that learners acquire knowledge and skills in line with the national education policy, curriculum, and international standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching
- Demonstrate outstanding teaching skills in their learning areas.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons.
- Take a curriculum leadership role within their subject or learning area.
- Plan, coordinate, control, evaluate, and report on learners’ academic progress.
- Develop and produce relevant learning and teaching materials.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior teaching staff.
Extra-Curricular Activities
- Participate in organizing and supervising school sports, community, social, and cultural activities.
Communication and Relations
- Meet with parents and guardians to discuss learner progress, conduct, and welfare.

Applications must include:
- Certified copies of educational qualifications and registration certificates
- Marriage certificate (where applicable)
- Two reference letters
- Certified copy of national ID
Applications must reach the District Education Office – Human Resource Section, with copies sent to the School Board, Education Secretary, and Supervisor of Government Schools no later than 16:30 on 05 December 2025.
