Call for Applications
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for permanent teaching service positions in Government and Church-owned schools throughout Lesotho.
All positions are open to:
- Qualified unemployed teachers

Job Summary

- Meet with parents regarding learner progress
Classroom Teacher Qualifications
Senior Teacher II (Secondary)
- M.Ed or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience as Senior Teacher I
Grade: L6b
Senior Teacher I (Secondary)
- M.Ed or equivalent; OR
- B.Ed Hons or equivalent + 3 years as Teacher II; OR
- B.Ed or equivalent + 5 years as Teacher II
Grade: L6a
Teacher II (Secondary)
- B.Ed in Secondary Education or equivalent; OR
- Diploma in Secondary Education + 4 years’ experience as Teacher I
Grade: L5
Teacher I (Secondary)
- Diploma in Secondary Education or equivalent

How to Apply
All new applicants should apply using Schedule (5), while applicants for leadership posts should use Schedule (6). The schedules are available at the Districts Human Resource Offices.
Applications must include:
- Certified copies of relevant qualifications
- Registration certificate
- Marriage certificate, where necessary
- Two reference letters
- Copy of ID
Applications should reach the District Education Office – Human Resource Offices, with copies submitted to the School Board, Educational Secretary, and Supervisor Government Schools.
