Civil Structural Engineer – Buildings Offshoring at Aurecon

Key Responsibilities

• Design of reinforced concrete and steel structures for heavy industrial/energy and renewables facilities;
• Design of foundations structures;
• Design of drainage systems;
• Perform structural engineering quality review of peers and/or sub-consultants;
• Preparation of construction drawing packages;
• Field engineering and performing civil structural inspections, as required;
• Preparation of technical specifications;
• Road and pavement design;
• Assistance in the Civil/Structural engineering components of a project proposal;
• Delivering to agreed deadlines;
• Report writing;
• Ability to provide construction support.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 – 8 years post graduate professional experience as a Civil Structural Engineer within Building Services
• PrEng highly advantageous
• Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards(recommended);
• Strong ability to use structural software packages such as AUTOCAD, and REVIT
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong client relationship building capacity;
• Exceptional reporting skills and project management capabilities and proven experience;
• Loyal, team-orientated and keen to develop their career for the long term.
