Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Estimator for a project in Lesotho. As a Civil Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of civil construction projects and providing competitive bids.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Perform quantity take-offs and gather necessary information for estimating
- Utilize estimating software and tools to calculate costs
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and present them to clients or management
- Track and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor and analyze project costs and compare them to estimated costs
- Provide support to the project team as needed
Requirements
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Estimator
- Must have prior SANRAL experience
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, materials, and methods
- Proficiency in CCS
- Flexibility to work on-site in Lesotho
