The People’s Republic of China through the China- Africa Friendship Scholarship invites applications for scholarship, from suitable candidates to pursue studies at Doctorate and Masters, in China, in 2021.
Conditions for application:
• Applicant must be a citizen of Lesotho.
• Applicants must possess a minimum of first degree at second class 2(2) for Masters study and Master’s degree for Doctoral study.
• Applicants must be 35 or below for Masters study and 40 or below for Doctorate study.
Submission Requirements:
• Application letter addressed to Director –NMDS, clearly stating the intended programme of study and the Institution (the scholarship is for programmes listed on the website only).
• Certifies copies of academic certificates and transcripts
• Certified copy of National ID.
• CV
• Employed applicants who have been previously sponsored by NMDS should have paid at least 50% of previous Loan Bursary (LB) and should attach LB statement. Unemployed applicants who have not met the above LB requirement will be allowed to apply. The selection will give first preference to applicants who have satisfied the LB requirement.
• Nomination letter from employer, confirming that the candidate will be included in the training plan for 2021/2022.
• Completed medical fitness form that includes an HIV test (forms available on the below mentioned site).
