Responsible for
The Fleet Manager is responsible for providing leadership to the Transport Section and ensuring efficient management, rigorous accounting control, physical safeguard, and appropriate use of NUL’s motorized assets, resulting in an efficient delivery of goods and services to our intended beneficiaries. The Transport Officer will be responsible for effective utilization, maintenance, and repair of vehicles; inventory management; running Vehicle Management System (VMS) software and supervision and mentoring of drivers.
Education, Training and Qualifications
- Diploma in Fleet Management/ Transport Management/ Logistics Management or equivalent (Fleet Operations and Management)
- Valid driver’s license for light vehicles. Driver’s license Code B – EC as per SADC rankings.
Desirable
- BTECH in Fleet Management or Logistics Management or Transport Management or equivalent would be an added advantage
Experience
- Three years’ experience working in Fleet Management
- Can demonstrate experience of:
o Managing drivers and organizational fleet
Employment Contract:
Permanent and Pensionable.
