The Chief Snowmaker is responsible for:
- Managing Snowmaking Production and Upkeep of all Snowmaking Equipment
- Grooming of Snow and Upkeep of International Machinery
- Lift Operations and All Surface style Lifts used during winter season and Summer season
- Ski Patrol and All Medical Requirements
- Summer activities- Lead Guide for All Enduro Motorbike and Adventure Bike Guided trips and Events
- Summer development- Dams Development and water Reserves
- Ski Slope extensions and Project Management of new Slopes
- Snowmaking Upgrades
- Servicing of winter related equipment
- Weather forecasting and Snow / cold warnings
- Clearing Road to Lower Moteng when Snow Falls causing heavy traffic restrictions and Accidents
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Relative Ski Industry Knowledge equivalent to 8 Years + experience
- Snowmaking Management and Operation relative to Ski Industry on International Level
- Grooming and Slope preparations and management On international Ski Industry level
- Ski Patrol and Safety of All Guests
- Full Understanding of Snow and weather related to Winter ski seasons.
- Ski Slope Management – Summer and Winter Operations
- Technical Abilities and Understanding of Winter Sports in Snow and Technical Operations thereof.
