Chief Protection Officer: Ref: CPO
The Chief Protection Officer (CPO) is entrusted with the responsibility to manage all security and safety systems, security staff and operations and to establish, maintain policies and procedures to safeguard the assets of the Bank, its staff, customers and visitors.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Managing the Protective Services Division (PSD) to ensure adequate safety of staff, visitors to and assets of the Bank
The Candidate will be required to:
- Advise and inform Management of all on going security and safety and environment-related aspects and formulate preventative measures;
- Formulate Policies and Procedures to guide security operations of the Bank;
- Plan, prepare and implement daily business and contingency plans deemed necessary to enhance security and safety at the Bank premises;
- Monitor and analyze security and safety trends in the Banking industry for purposes of enhancing the Bank’s security operations;
- Ensure the continued relevance of the designs of the Bank’s security and safety systems;
- Do administrative work such as supervision of staff, preparation of annual work plan, progress reports and the budget.

All candidates wishing to apply should have the above-stated behavioural competencies and any of the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum requirement is a Master’s degree in any of the following: Law, Security Management, Risk Management, or Investigations or related field.
Experience: - A minimum of seven (7) years relevant working experience three (5) of which at managerial level
