United Through Sports is an alliance of many organisations working together through sports to bring unity and peace to an often-divided world. We would like to thank each and every one who has contributed to the success of these alliances and particularly to the IOC, SportAccord and AIMS for the trust granted to us in coordinating this much needed initiative. United Through Sport is looking for an experienced and well-qualified person to join the organization in Port Elizabeth as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to work initially side by side with the current Director with the potential to take over the general roles and responsibilities of the Director within a short period.
Responsibilities:
For overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization.
Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and advocacy.
Requirements:
An undergraduate degree in a relevant field is required.
A Masters degree is advantageous. A valid driver’s license is essential.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior management or organizational leadership is imperative.
Any experience of working with committees or boards is advantageous.
Experience of working in the charity sector in key roles such as fundraising, marketing, financial management, human resource management and programme management is essential.
