Open Position: Chef
The Chef will be responsible for a wide range of kitchen duties normally encountered in an institutional kitchen.
Qualification
- C.O.S.C. Catering and Decorations
Main Duties
- Prepare or direct preparation for regular and special diet foods according to prescribed menus and recipes.
- Determine proper cooking time and temperature.
- Clean and sanitize all food preparation equipment.
- Store excess food at the correct temperature to avoid spoilage.
- Ensure food portions and presentation meet hospital standards.
- Monitor supplies and re-order stock as needed.
- Ensure that cooking utensils are clean before each use.
- Ensure that food health and safety regulations are followed.
