Applications are now open for the 2027 CFA Institute Program Access Scholarships. The CFA Institute Access Scholarship Programme is designed to make the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Programme more accessible to individuals who cannot afford the full programme fees.
The scholarship provides eligible candidates with discounted CFA examination registration fees, helping reduce the financial barriers associated with pursuing the CFA designation. The Access scholarship reduces the CFA Program exam registration fee to USD 400 under the Premium Registration Package which includes Practice Pack.
The CFA Institute Access Scholarship
The Access Scholarship is intended for individuals who face financial difficulties paying the full CFA Programme fees and are not currently registered for a CFA examination.
There is no specified minimum or maximum income or asset threshold. However, applicants must satisfy the CFA Programme entry requirements and comply with the scholarship rules.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Not have failed to register for or sit an examination under a previously awarded scholarship, subject to the applicable rules.
- Be unable to afford the full CFA Programme fees.
- Meet all CFA Programme entry requirements.
- Not be currently registered for a CFA examination.
- Not have an active, unused CFA scholarship.
- Not have submitted multiple applications within the same application window.
- Not have an open application for another CFA Institute scholarship programme.
- Not receive financial assistance from their current employer for participation in the CFA Programme.
- Have complied with previous scholarship audit requirements, where applicable.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants receive:
- A discount on CFA Programme examination registration fees, as specified in their scholarship award email.
- Access to the digital CFA curriculum upon registration.
The scholarship is valid for one examination window.
Important: The scholarship does not automatically cover passports, travel arrangements, incidental expenses or supplementary study materials.
