CARE FOR BASOTHO ASSOCIATION (CBA)
CBA is a local, humanitarian, development and non-governmental organisation whose mandate is to assist the Lesotho Government of Lesotho in pushing back the frontiers of poverty through various interventions including Natural Resource Management; Economic Empowerment particularly for women and girls; Food security and Livelihoods; and of course HIV&AIDS prevention, care and support.
CBA with the support from, the Global fund through Ministry of Finance Project Management Unit (PMU) will be implementing the Key Populations (KP) programs. The project aims to strengthen the HIV prevention and care interventions for key populations (KP) through enhancing the capacity of the KP-led and KP-competent organizations to plan, deliver and optimize HIV prevention, care and treatment services to KP. CBA will implement the project focusing on Female Sex Workers (FSWs), Men having sex with other men (MSM) and Injecting Drug (IDU) in eight (8) districts namely; Mafeteng, Mohale’s Hoek, Quthing, Qacha’s Nek, Thaba-Tseka, Mokhotlong, Botha-Bothe and Berea.
