Job Description

To develop enduring and rewarding relations with CashPlus Agents by effectively driving end to end sales recruitment as per set targets, onboarding training / set-up, ongoing maintenance and support right through to agent decommissioning as per process requirements. To implement a comprehensive compliance program, consult with the business unit to ensure conformance with regulations, including alignment to and embedding of compliance training requirements across the agency banking channel. Adheres to FNB Culture.

  • Manage the growth of active Agents Base to increase agency banking market share and revenue.
  • Achieve agent recruitment sales against the budget.
  • Maximise cross sell opportunities from the ecosystem by creating opportunities for branches to conduct sales activations at agents’ locations.  
  • Lead generation for both consumer and business.
  • Ensure that agents transact monthly to drive revenue.
  • Understand the needs and expectations of customers or agents to enable you deal with agent or customer inquiries/queries in a professional manner as specified by the service standards to prevent complaints from escalating.
  • Support the customer or agent complaints management framework through the CARE system and complaints process so as to manage the turnaround time.
  • Ensure that any requests from frontline management and staff are processed within SLA.
  • Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Compliance with internal procedures & processes – FNB Golden Rules
  • Conduct agents training/retraining on AML, TCF and system/cellphone banking to ensure compliance to rules & regulations and for efficiency while serving customers.
  • Ensure adherence to risk and compliance requirements as you perform your duties.
  • Conduct regular visits to agents for after sales support and handholding.
  • Ongoing monitoring and support of agent transactional performance and growth.
  • Maintain operational efficiencies in execution of agency sales, onboarding, training, monitoring/support, commission payments right to agent decommissioning.
  • Provide expert knowledge on CashPlus end to end product/process information from sales, onboarding right through to agent decommissioning.
  • Attend and participate in regular staff meetings, team exercises and carry oneself in a manner that embodies the FNB Culture and inspires others to do the same.
  • Actively pursue continuous improvement by setting clear personal development plans and working towards achieving set targets.
  • Update Job knowledge by studying bank products and requesting for training when knowledge gaps are identified.
  • Achieve competency against all key result areas required.
