Qualifications and Evaluations


EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of experience in cashiering, with at least one of the three years in voucher examination, creditor reconciliations and payment processing, is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Pre-hire knowledge must include a good understanding both practice and theory of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, the local banking environment as it relates to the required cashier activity, and a working understanding of VAT and its applicability on the local economy. Post-hire knowledge will include an orientation to Embassy operations, specifically the financial management office operations, USG specific regulations / policies / operating guidelines for the full spectrum of financial management activities, Business processes currently established and in use for processing, review, certification and filing of cashier and vendor voucher payments. Introductions to a variety of business points of contact required in the successfully application and execution of position requirements.

Education Requirements:

Completion of secondary school and a minimum of two (2) years of college studies in finance, accounting or business administration required.


LANGUAGE: English. Level 4 fluent, written/spoken, including the ability to translate.
