CASHIER
Location: Maputsoe, Lesotho
Employment Type: Full-time
ROLE PURPOSE
The Cashier will handle customer transactions, maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate the POS system and process payments (cash, card and mobile).
- Issue receipts and ensure correct pricing.
- Maintain a clean and organised checkout area.
- Assist customers with enquiries.
- Balance the till at the end of each shift.
- Report discrepancies or suspicious transactions.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong numeracy and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Trustworthiness and reliability.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Qualification in Accounting is advantageous.
- Basic computer/POS knowledge.
