Carpentry Instructor
Job Level: Operational
Reporting to: Training Manager
Job Specification:
The Instructor must be highly knowledgeable in carpentry and possess strong technical aptitude. The role involves assisting students, supervising practical activities, and supporting programme growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in craftsmanship
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering theoretical and practical carpentry lessons
- Support students on hands-on projects ensuring safe working practices
- Ensure proper availability and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Assist in curriculum development and implementation of new teaching strategies
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Perform any other duties assigned by Senior Instructor or LOIC Management
