EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS | – Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent – HIV/AIDS Counselling Certificate – minimum 10-day Course, which is not older than 2 years from the date of issue or HIV/AIDS Counselling Certificate – minimum 10-day Course, older than 2 years’, but not more than 3 years’, with a certificate for a 2-day refresher course from an accredited provider. – Finger Prick Certificate advantageous – Valid driver’s licence |
EXPERIENCE | 2 – 3 years HIV Counselling & staff supervision experience |
SALARY RANGE | Market Related – To be discussed |

- Excellent people and motivational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; good command of the English language
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to work non-traditional hours which will include weekends
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage & coordinate a team of HTS mobilisers and HTS lay counsellors as well as support staff
- Responsible for developing and implementing weekly workplans
- Responsible for monitoring achievements against set targets
- Represent the organisation at various stakeholder meetings at district-, sub-district & facility levels
- Build district level, sub-district level and facility level partnerships and maintain them
- Quality Assure the HTS registers, Linkage Registers and Index Testing Registers, daily and ensure that they are submitted to the various facilities, daily
- Data collection and compilation of monthly report forms as required
- Represent the organization when industrial relations matters arise
