About the Position
Providere Academy, incorporating Annabelle Pre-School, is inviting applications from qualified primary school teachers to join its team for the 2027 academic year. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering quality primary education, preparing lessons, assessing learners, and supporting academic development. Teachers should be willing to undertake Cambridge curriculum training and contribute to the school’s academic standards and ongoing development.
Minimum Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification, preferably a Diploma or Degree in Primary Education.
- Relevant teaching experience in a primary school; Cambridge curriculum experience will be an advantage.
- Sound understanding of primary-level teaching methodologies, curriculum planning, and assessment.
- Ability to prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, learner progress reports, and teaching resources.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners with different abilities.
- Good classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- ICT skills and the ability to integrate technology into teaching.
- Commitment to safeguarding, learner wellbeing, professional conduct, and continuous professional development.
- Willingness to undertake Cambridge curriculum training and implement the school’s academic standards.
- Experience teaching Cambridge Primary, familiarity with Cambridge learner assessment, and willingness to participate in curriculum planning and school development will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching resources.
- Teach and assess learners in accordance with the curriculum.
- Prepare learner progress reports and monitor academic development.
- Adapt lessons to accommodate learners with different abilities and learning needs.
