Calling all human rights defenders!
The #EU has launched a new call for proposals under its #GlobalEurope programme for actions to promote & protect human rights & fundamental freedoms, democracy and rule of law in #Lesotho.
The priorities of the call for proposals are to:
💠 Strengthen the role of civil society in monitoring, preventing & responding to human rights violations & abuses in the country.
💠 Improve the integrity, transparency & accuracy of democratic & electoral processes.
💠 Strengthen the capacities of civil society organisations & independent media to exercise fundamental freedoms.
⏳ The deadline for the submission of concept notes is 21 June 2022 at 10:00 am (Brussels date and time).
