About 3m3 programme:

3M3 is a programme of Kolektiv Gallery that facilitates the organisation and production of projects developed by young architects and other researchers, with an emphasis on experimental work. Each year, Kolektiv invites a guest curator who determines the theme in accordance with their own research and leads and develops the programme in cooperation with the team of the gallery. In this way, Kolektiv Gallery opens a space for developing the research works in the field of curating/exhibiting practices within architecture.

The thematic focus of the 3M3 consists of a wide range of questions and topics that are, or can be, in some way related to contemporary architecture and the exhibiting practices within. The programme is conceived as a sequence of exhibitions, repeating monthly each season.

In the new upcoming season (2019/20), we introduce the new exhibition space of Kolektiv Gallery at 20 Drinciceva street. While the research programme will maintain its structure, focus and goals, its physical form will evolve, faced with the context of the gallery’s new space. The building’s sidewall, its facade and gable will become a polygon for communicating the ideas to the audience and passersby.

The participation in the programme is seen as an opportunity for authors to create and produce new work rather than to present and describe existing projects.

Ideas can be realised in any form, medium or shape, so long as the work physically fits in the exhibition space of the above mentioned wall – installations, video, multimedia, graphic materials, sculpture, physical and virtual models etc.
