World Vision International Lesotho (WVIL), in partnership with MISA Lesotho, is proud to invite journalists from across the country to a specialized training series on Trafficking in Persons (TIP) and Child Labour Reporting.
As the media, our voices are the strongest weapons against injustice. Under the AECFL Project-funded by the European Union-this training aims to empower media professionals with the legal frameworks, ethical standards, and storytelling skills needed to protect our children and communities.
This intensive training is designed to equip journalists with the tools and ethical frameworks necessary to report effectively on human trafficking and child labour in Lesotho.
Logistics & Support:
- Venue: Thaba Bosiu Cultural Village
- Duration: 2-Day Intensive Session with an overnight stay.
- Fully Sponsored: Transport (to and from Maseru/designated points), comfortable accommodation, and all meals will be provided.
Phase 1 Dates: 19th – 20th May, 2026. Phase 2 Dates: 27th – 28th May, 2026.
This training is for journalists who have not previously participated in World Vision Lesotho child-labour-focused training. Let’s collaborate to establish comprehensive protection mechanisms for the children of Lesotho.
