CALL FOR BIDS: SCRAP METAL AT MASERU CENTRAL PARK
The Maseru City Council has received a grant from the Government of Lesotho for the redevelopment of Maseru Central Park. In preparation for this project, we invite licensed metal scrap dealers to submit competitive bids for the purchase of scrap metal located at the park.
BID REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bids must be submitted in writing, clearly marked: “Scrap Metal Bid – Maseru Central Park Redevelopment”.
2. Include:
– Company/Dealer registration details.
– Proposed price per ton/unit (in Maloti).
– Proof of valid scrap metal dealer
license.
– Payment of MCC Municipal Fees’ (MSFs)

– Tax Clearance
3. Bids must reach the Maseru City Council Procurement Office by: Monday, 12th May 2025 before close of business (1630HRS).
SUBMISSION ADDRESS:
Maseru City Council – Procurement Section – MoonStar Complex 3rd Floor – Makhetheng next to the Main Traffic Circle.
NOTE
– Late bids will not be considered.
– The Council reserves the right to accept/reject any bid without explanation.
– Successful bidders will be notified publicly or via contact details provided.
