Prime Cubate Enterprises – 5th Incubation Cycle
Lesotho Entrepreneurship Hub & Seed Financing Facility (LEHSFF)
(Under the World Bank–backed CAFI Project)
Prime Cubate invites innovative, high-growth SMEs and startups to apply for the 5th Incubation Cycle running from February 2026 to August 2026.
This programme falls under the Competitiveness and Financial Inclusion (CAFI) Project, funded by the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank. The programme aims to increase access to business support services and financial products for MSMEs, with a strong focus on women and youth.
Who Should Apply (Prime Cubate Focus)
Applications are open to enterprises that:
• Have been operating for at least one year (formal or informal)
• Are led full-time by the owner/founder
• Employ at least four team members (not a one-person company)
• Are based in any of Lesotho’s ten districts
• Can commit to a six-month incubation programme
• Demonstrate scalability and job creation potential
Priority Sectors:
• Renewable Energy and Green Manufacturing
• Agro-Processing and Food Manufacturing
• Recycling and Circular Economy
Women- and youth-led enterprises are strongly encouraged to apply.
Programme Benefits
Selected enterprises will receive:
• Tailored mentorship and business coaching
• Support to strengthen financial management, governance, and operations
• Product/service and business model refinement
• Market and investor linkage opportunities
• Digitization support for improved efficiency
• Training in finance, marketing, HR, and operations
• Support to develop a scalable two-year business plan
• Facilitated access to investment and other financing sources
About Prime Cubate
Prime Cubate is an enterprise support and incubation organisation established in September 2022 to strengthen Lesotho’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The organisation works with MSMEs to become funding-ready, improve operational efficiency, and connect to both local and global investment opportunities, with a focus on impact-driven manufacturing enterprises.
