The Government of Lesotho, with the support of the African Development Bank is implementing the Economic Diversification Support Project which is called Promoting Enterprise Development (PED) to support the growth and development of MSMEs in Lesotho.
An objective of the project is to launch a Business Plan Competition (BPC) that will support high potential businesses established by Basotho youth and women as well as enterprises in the priority sectors of Manufacturing, Agriculture, Tourism and Renewable Energy.
Therefore application for interested and eligible enterprises are invited for submission.
Eligibility Criteria
– Participants must be indegenous citizens of Lesotho and must live and work in Lesotho
– Participants must be over 18 years
– willingness to sign Participation Letter of Agreement and to comply with terms and Conditions of the BPC
– participants must be available to attend in person all BPC trainings they have been selected for
– willingness to provide summary of Business Plan and a photo on the BPC portal and other promotional platforms.

Applications will be open on the portal from 12th November 2019 and the deadline to submit applications is 8th December 2019.
