Business Development Service Providers Training Programme – BEDCO

Information Session

The Government of Lesotho, supported by the African Development Bank
is implementing the Promoting Enterprise Development Programme
(PED) to support the promotion of enterprise development in Lesotho. A
key component of the programme is to build the capacity of professional
Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs) that would be able to
provide their services to the Basotho Enterprise Development Corporation
(BEDCO)’s MSME client base.

BEDCO is launching a call for applications on 11th July 2019 for BDSPs to
attend and participate in a BDS Training Programme.

To support the process, BEDCO and PED will hold an information session at
the BEDCO, Sebaboleng offices, on 11th July 2019. This session is intended
to provide an overview of the training programme as well as run through the application process and respond to questions from prospective participants.
The information session will be held at BEDCO Maseru Campus at 09:00am
– 12:00 noon.
BEDCO and PED are particularly interested to increase the number of women and youth owned BDS providers and therefore encourage women and young people (between the ages of 18-35), to submit applications. Applications from BDSPs outside Maseru are also especially welcome.
For more information, please do not hesitate to contact BEDCO (t.shava@
bedco.org.ls) and copy ([email protected]).
