Business Development Representative (BDR) – Sales Lead
Job Purpose
The Business Development Representative (BDR) – Sales Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, managing the end‑to‑end sales process, and establishing and leading the sales function within the organisation. The role focuses on generating demand, converting opportunities into sales, and positioning the organisation’s printing solutions effectively in the market.
Reporting Line
- Reports to: CEO
- Works closely with: Production, Marketing, Accounting/Finance, and External Retail Partners
Role Context
This is a high‑impact, revenue‑generating role within a growing business. The successful candidate must be a hands‑on sales professional who can both:
- Execute day‑to‑day business development activities
- Build, structure, and formalize the sales function for scalability

Business Development and Lead Generation

Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients including corporates, SMEs, retail, and events
- Conduct market research to uncover opportunities for printing solutions
- Execute outreach strategies such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and in‑person visits
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong and active sales pipeline
Sales Conversion and Revenue Generation

- Increased revenue and closed deals
- Strong client acquisition rate

- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Present tailored printing solutions to meet client needs
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and pricing strategies

- Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle
Desirable
- Experience in the printing, advertising, or media industry
- Experience building or structuring a sales function in a small or growing business
