We’re seeking completed, in-use timber-based buildings of any typology.
The Built by Nature Prize 2025 celebrates completed timber buildings that exemplify the Principles for Responsible Timber Construction. This global award recognises excellence in both new builds and renovations that demonstrate leadership in responsible timber design and the integration of other bio-based materials.
Winners will receive international recognition at Woodrise 2025 and COP30 in Brazil, where selected projects will be featured in a global documentary launched in Belém. Winners will also be celebrated at a dedicated Prize event during the annual Built by Nature Summit.
Shortlisted projects may be invited to join the Built by Nature Knowledge Hub.
Any project stakeholder may apply, with up to three entries per organisation.
Projects must be completed, in-use, and primarily constructed from timber.
