British Overseas Territory of Turks and Caicos – President of the Court of Appeal

The Judicial Service Commission of the British Overseas Territory of Turks and Caicos Islands invites applications for the position of President of the Court of Appeal.

The Court of Appeal hears appeals in three or four sessions every year. Each session is usually three weeks long and the court may hear appeals virtually.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Candidates for this position must be a Judge of the High Court; or is, or has been, a Judge of a court of unlimited jurisdiction in civil and criminal matters in some part of the Commonwealth, or of Ireland, or of a court having jurisdiction in appeals from such a Court.

DURATION AND SCOPE OF WORK

A three (3) year appointment extendable on mutual agreement.
