EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & RELATED EXPERIENCE
• Certificate in Bricklaying or Equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in construction of water reticulation infrastructure
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interprets construction plans and specifications
• Setting out of water infrastructures e.g. Tanks and spring catchments
• Accuracy in measuring tape usage
• Responsible for management of resources including tools and equipment
• Knowledge of galvanized pipe sizes and fittings
• Ability to use pipe threading machine
• Ability to build with face brick and stone
• Compliance with company safety requirements
• Reporting to immediate construction supervisor on daily basis
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as requested or needed
• Must be able to motivate a team
• Understanding of the construction principles
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings
• Team management
• Ability to meet targets and work within schedule
