Reporting to the Operations Director, this position will suit a dynamic self-starting person looking for long-term prospects within a rewarding entrepreneurial environment.
Job Description
• Minimum of 8-10 years’ senior management experience in the transport and distribution industry
• Tertiary Qualification be advantageous;
• Experience in planning and managing operational budgets and financial activities;
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating operations on a national basis and abnormal loads including managing operations to cross-border countries;
• Hands-on experience in managing line-haul and fine distribution operations;
• Responsible for all HR, IR and management of employees;
• Responsible for Marketing and Sales and proven ability to manage fleet
• Proficient in MS Office;
• Ability to perform under pressure and willingness to work long hours when required
• Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
