Job Title: Branch Manager
Location: Pioneer Branch
Reports to: Head of Branch Network
Purpose od the Job:
To manage and lead staff in a branch to meet service and sales objectives whilst ensuring compliance to processes and procedures to prevent risk and ensuring alignment to the Financial and service objectives of the Business Unit
Outputs Required:
• Ensure new and existing staff meet regulatory and legislative requirements by mitigating risk through enforcing adherence to requirements and Legislation compliance.
• Improve processes and systems that will contribute to improved client service delivery by inviting suggestions and recommendations from branch staff.
• Deliver optimum client service by identifying branch capacity needs and requirements, through considering business trends and by filling staff vacancies.
• Ensure service standards are adhered to and that clients are retained by tracking, monitoring and by following up via team leader addressing client comments, complaints and compliments.
• Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders (e.g. product niches, clients/communities) through interaction at area/branch/community meetings, ceremonies, community events and by attending client education initiatives and by providing client service, delivering business and client relationship results
Qualifications ans Experience:
Required Qualifications:
• B.Comm or related degree
Preferred Qualifications:
• Postgraduate degree in Business Management or related
Experience:
• 2 years experience in a client facing retail sales environment and 2 years’ experience in people management. Commercial banking experience will be an added advantage.
