Association For the Physically Challenged, provides holistic and fundamental services to physically challenged adults and children at no charge, throughout the Province of KwaZulu-Natal. The Association is a well established registered provincial non-profit organisation providing a range of services to persons with physical disabilities. The operations of the branch include a residential facility, craft training workshop and several outreach programmes.
APC seeks to appoint a Branch Administrator to be based in Newcastle, Kwazulu Natal.
Requirements:
Certified Matriculation Certificate as well as certification of Tertiary Education in Business Management,
Organisational and administrative skills
A minimum of six years management experience, This is a management post and it is necessary that the applicant has had management experience in a multi-disciplinary environment
Financial knowledge in reconciliations and budgeting
Excellent computer and English writing skills
Minute taking and reporting skills
Driver’s licence and own reliable transport
Traceable references
Responsibilities:
Management of branch operations
Management of staff
Public relations
Liaising with Government Departments
Ensuring the best possible care for residents in the facility
Maintenance of property, vehicles and equipment
Diary management for events deadlines, statutory returns etc.
Ensuring that all policies of the Association are adhered to.
