Vishan Clothing Industries (Pty) Ltd is a garment manufacturing company based at Maputsoe Industrial Estate, Leribe District, Lesotho. The Company manufactures apparel for local and international markets, with a focus on quality, efficiency and meeting customer requirements.
Vishan Clothing Industries (Pty) Ltd invites applications from highly experienced, qualified and accomplished professionals to serve on its Board of Directors.
Positions Available
Accountant – One position
Legal Professional – One position
Directors – Two positions
Minimum Requirements
1. Accountant
A recognised professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CIMA, CA or an equivalent qualification.
Extensive experience in financial management and internal controls.
Demonstrable experience in corporate governance, financial oversight and strategic decision-making at senior management or Board level.
2. Legal Professional
A recognised legal qualification and relevant professional standing.
Extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, contract management, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
Experience advising Boards and senior executives on legal risks, directors’ duties and corporate matters.
3. Directors
Substantial experience in executive leadership, business management, corporate strategy or organisational governance.
A proven track record in strategic planning, business development, performance oversight and sound decision-making.
Demonstrable ability to provide independent judgement, constructive challenge and effective oversight of management.

Strategic thinking, sound judgement and the ability to contribute meaningfully to Board deliberations.

An understanding of corporate governance principles, fiduciary responsibilities and business risk management.
The ability to act in the best interests of the Company and contribute to its long-term success.
Previous Board experience will be an added advantage. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the independence of judgement, professional credibility and commitment required for effective Board service.
